I have been living and breathing skin for almost 20 years.
I still pinch myself every day that I have been able to create my dream skin/body/health sanctuary where clients feel nurtured and at ease as soon as they walk through the pink Salon door.
I am a firm believer that how you on the feel inside reflects on how you feel and look on the outside.
Our skin is an indicator of all the things positive or negative we put on the inside and outside.
A big foundation of my practice delves into gut health, nutrition and emotional health. And I am always happy to share knowledge, advice and guide clients on leading a well balanced life, which in turn leads to healthy glowing skin.
As well as being a mum of 3 and running a small business, I am also studying Kinesiology.
I have learnt over the years the art of nurturing one's self and not letting your cup get empty, especially as my job involves filling client’s cups back up.
Proper downtime, elevated self care and nutrition plays a major role for me to have vitality and clarity.
Consistency is key and I am all about consistent rituals from my warm turmeric brew every morning to my nightly skincare ritual and daily positive self-talk.
I am a clinical nutritionist with a Bachelor of Health Sciences (Nutritional and Dietetic Medicine) from Endeavour College of Natural Health and a member of the Australian Natural Therapies Association (ANTA).
Nutritional medicine is an evidence-based complementary medicine approach, that focuses on the prevention of disease and on helping to manage existing chronic disease by finding and treating the root cause of the disease. Nutritional medicine practitioners believe that the body has an innate ability to heal itself, given the right circumstances. Those circumstances include dietary, environmental and lifestyle factors - some of which are within our control, and some that are not. A clinical, holistic nutritionist can help the body heal itself by identifying and removing obstacles that prevent the body from returning to health, and by encouraging the patient to adopt a healthy lifestyle that includes nutritious foods, exercise, stress management techniques and other lifestyle modifications. Conditions that we can help with include:
Digestive issues & gut health (for example: IBS, diarrhoea, constipation, bloating, heartburn/reflux, SIBO and many others)
Female and male reproductive concerns, preconception care and post-partum care
Female health issues such as PMS, PCOS, menopausal symptoms
Stress, fatigue and sleep issues
